This site runs fan programs for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks Hockey Club. Here is what we collect when you enter one, and what we do with it.
What we collect
What you put on the entry form: your name and email, optionally your phone number and town, the photo and details you submit, and whether you ticked the box to hear from the Silverbacks. We also record the time you entered and, if you arrived from a social post, which one.
What we use it for
To run the program you entered: reviewing entries, contacting you if you are selected, and arranging any prize. If you opted in, to send you Silverbacks news and offers — every email has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with program sponsors, except what is needed to hand over a prize.
What is public
If your entry is selected, the photo, your pet’s name, your first name and your town (if you gave one) appear on the videoboard at Rogers Rink, over the PA, on this site and on Silverbacks and sponsor social channels — that is the program. Your last name, email and phone number are never shown.
How long we keep it
Entries that are not selected are deleted 90 days after the season ends. Selected entries stay published as part of the season’s record. You can withdraw an entry at any time before it is selected by emailing us, and we will delete it and the photo.
Where it lives
Entries are stored in Canada with Supabase (Montréal region) and served through Vercel. This site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, shared with sasilverbacks.com, to count visits and entries; no entry details are sent to them.

Personal information is handled under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act. To access, correct or delete yours, see the contact on the rules page of the program you entered.
